Catherine entered into the running world as a child in France when she followed some friends into the local running club and has never looked back. She continued running while living in Europe in high school, competed in college in cross county and track and began distance running in Texas with a local running group. She moved to Fort Collins from Texas in 2021 longing for mountains and epic adventures.
Running has always been a magical way to find community (and a husband!) for her, whether through social runs, coaching high school runners or finding life long friends in the sport.
Catherine transitioned from road running to trails with the Hells Hills 50k in Texas, Quad Rock 25 and more recently finished top 10 at the stunning Never Summer 60k in 2023. This year she’s attempting her highest mileage summer yet with 3 races, which really just means more playing in the mountains and more runs with friends!
