Runner by dawn, executive assistant by day, and weightlifter by evening, Colleen wears many hats when it comes to doing things that bring her joy in life. In 2013, she discovered running and the opportunities that her two feet could provide which really fills her bucket. She has run many trail and road half marathons and marathons since finding her passion for the sport.
In 2018, she completed the Gnar Slam and in 2019 ran her first 100 mile race (Bighorn!) which to date has been her favorite race experience. Bighorn was her very first 50k in 2017 where she experienced her first ultramarathon … and all the mud that Bighorn typically brings.
For Colleen, the best part of trail running has been the new friendships she’s created on and off the trail. When she’s not running, you can find her at Raintree Athletic Club lifting heavy weights; camping, fishing, and shooting with her husband; snuggling with her sweet old dog; and doing extensive meal prepping from her favorite cookbooks, Run Fast Eat Slow and Run Fast Cook Fast Eat Slow.
